Delivery Supervisor

Time Type: Full time Remote Type: Job Family Group: Market Operations Job Description Summary The primary purpose of this position is to assist with the daily management of the operations delivery staff. Job Responsibilities Effectively aid in managing the delivery operations team. Monitor delivery fleet using MobileCast and/or Roadnet. Recommend and/or perform performance management actions, including selection and hiring, transferring, discharging, assignment of work, and progressive discipline. Maintain driver attendance records, sick days, vacation, etc. Train drivers in safe driving, proper lifting techniques, and company delivery process and procedure. Regularly ride along with drivers and observe and coach to ensure proper customer service, productivity metric achievement, and safety practices. Oversee payroll related to attendance records and paid time off. Ensure DOT compliance, including safety requirements and drug screening. Verify and process daily delivery driver invoices, associated paperwork, returns, and collections in a timely and accurate manner. Interface with customers to solve discrepancies and problems, fostering a cohesive relationship. Collaborate with sales, warehouse, delivery, and customer service departments. Administer workers’ compensation, incentive, and safety programs. Responsibly handle beverage alcohol product. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or equivalent training and work experience. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related area. Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other computer programs, including presentation software. Results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills, diplomacy, discretion, and customer service skills. Ability to multi-task, work independently or within a team, pay attention to detail, and meet deadlines. Analytical and reporting skills. Sound judgment and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, team environment. Preferred Qualifications Maintain a valid CDL license. Physical Requirements Remain stationary at times, communicate, and operate a computer and telephone. Occasionally carry and lift up to 165 pounds. Occasionally reach overhead, squat, and bend. Frequently walk and stand for extended periods of time. Competencies Help coordinate the work of junior team members. Resolve varied, non-routine issues. Undertake analysis and investigation to solve issues. Salary & Benefits Salary Range: $54,600 - $74,025 Eligible to participate in a bonus program; metrics and level of participation determined annually.
