Scientific Writer

To support the initial development of the Yale School of Nursing Center for Aging Well, the full-time remote Senior Scientific Research Writer will provide high-level scientific writing, grant development, and research program support while collaborating with faculty and strategic partners. Key responsibilities Develop and execute strategies in collaboration with internal and external partners to advance the Center's research portfolio Identify funding opportunities and assist in the submission of grant proposals to enhance the Center's sustainability Manage communications and outreach efforts to promote the program's visibility and foster partnerships Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field with seven years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Extensive experience in scientific writing, research development, or scholarly communications in an academic or health sciences setting Demonstrated success in contributing to extramural grant applications and peer-reviewed publications Familiarity with NIH and other federal funding mechanisms and academic publishing standards Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
