Join a dedicated healthcare team in the heart of the Midwest region as a Dietary Support Aide. This role involves essential tasks such as washing and sanitizing patient and cafeteria trays, utensils, and dishware, as well as transporting meals to patient areas and assisting with minor food preparation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, sanitize, and air dry dishes and kitchenware according to assignment.
• Deliver patient meals promptly to ensure satisfaction and proper nutrition.
• Assemble patient trays following the daily menu.
• Maintain temperature and cleaning logs to uphold sanitation standards.
• Keep work areas and equipment clean, organized, and safe.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Experience

Up to 3 months of food service experience is preferred but can be gained through on-the-job training.

Certification/License

Not applicable.

Mental and Physical Requirements

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform basic math.
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
• Ability to read, write, and understand policies and procedures.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds during shifts.

Working Conditions

Work environment includes exposure to heat, noise, wet floors, hot steam, water, chemicals, glass breakage, and sharp knives. Interaction with patients may occur.
