Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical / Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: ACLS required Must-Have: - Acute care / Medical Surgical Telemetry experience - Ability to care for patients who are admitted and waiting in the emergency department - Flexibility to float within the scope to meet facility needs - Willingness to work every other weekend and some holidays Description: This position involves caring for patients who are admitted and waiting for bed availability. Patient care may occur in a designated area or potentially in the hallway. In rare instances where no patients are boarded, staff may be utilized in acute care areas. Candidates should be open to accommodating a block schedule if necessary. Local candidates may be considered if there is a desperate need. Exemptions for the flu vaccine may be accepted for medical or religious reasons only. Candidates should expect to work some holidays during their assignment. License must be in hand for submission.
