• Be at the forefront of patient care in Diagnostic Radiology!
• Receive and welcome patients, clearly explaining procedures and ensuring a comfortable experience.
• Master the art of patient positioning while expertly setting technical factors for high-quality imaging.
• Evaluate technical information and advise colleagues, utilizing your extensive knowledge of radiographic exposure techniques.
• Calculate precise exposure factors, optimizing image quality through effective patient positioning and compression.
• Stay sharp on radiation protection standards, applying your expertise to safeguard patient health and safety.
• Perform essential quality control tasks for your assigned modalities and troubleshoot radiology IT equipment.
• Contribute to a variety of radiographic examinations, demonstrating skill in both routine and complex assessments.
• Maintain required training and certifications, keeping your skills and knowledge up-to-date.
• Record and manage patient workload examinations, ensuring accurate data collection and reporting.
• Collaborate and represent your department in staff meetings, sharing insights and recommending innovative solutions.
• Plan and coordinate daily operations within the radiology department.
• Requisition necessary supplies to keep your department running smoothly.
• Embrace other assigned duties with enthusiasm and professionalism.

**Required Qualifications/Skills:**

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field plus 2 years of applicable experience, or a combination of education and experience.
• Must be an ARRT registered Technologist.
• 1-2 years of CT Training and Experience required.

**Physical Requirements:**

• Capable of lifting up to 10 lbs and performing light office work.
• Ability to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods.
• Regularly required to use hands for typing and operating office equipment.

**Cognitive Requirements:**

• Strong reading, writing, and calculating skills.
• Above-average social interaction abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

**Language Requirements:**

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

**Certificates, Licenses & Registrations:**

• Maintain ARRT accreditation by completing required continuing education units.
• Comply with necessary background checks and employment prerequisites.
