We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Morse Correctional Healthcare at the Okaloosa County Jail in Crestview, FL. Job Responsibilities:
- Receiving screenings and triaging fit for confinement
- Nurse sick calls
- Passing & Administering medications
- Assisting the physician and nurse practitioner
- Responds to medical emergencies
- Take vital signs
- Provide treatments to include:
- Wound Care
- Blood Sugar checks
- Administer insulin
- Nebulizer treatments
- Documents all encounters using a SOAP format in state of the art EMR
Job Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted PN license in the state of FL
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment
- Full Time DAY Shift 36 hours/week
