Leasing Consultant

We're seeking a friendly, professional, and motivated Leasing Consultant to join a growing apartment community in Champaign, Illinois.


As the first impression of the property, you'll play a key role in helping prospective residents find their next home while providing outstanding service to current residents. This position combines customer service, sales, relationship-building, and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

What You'll Do

• Welcome prospective residents and provide tours of available apartments and community amenities.
• Answer questions about floor plans, pricing, availability, and lease terms.
• Respond to phone, email, and online leasing inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Guide applicants through the leasing process from initial inquiry through move-in.
• Process rental applications and assist with lease paperwork.
• Maintain accurate resident and prospect records.
• Follow up with prospects to increase occupancy and leasing activity.
• Assist with resident retention efforts and lease renewals.
• Coordinate move-in and move-out processes.
• Communicate with maintenance and management teams to ensure excellent resident experiences.
• Help plan and support resident events and community activities.
• Maintain a professional, welcoming, and organized leasing office.

What We're Looking For

• Previous customer service, sales, leasing, hospitality, banking, retail, or office experience preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Comfortable speaking with a variety of people throughout the day.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
• Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills.
• Positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
