Medical Assistant CMA/MA

$1166.20/week -

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assist providers during exams and procedures, including chaperoning as needed.
  
  
• 
  Perform phlebotomy and draw blood specimens accurately and efficiently.
  
  
• 
  Document patient encounters and clinical information using EPIC electronic health record system.
  
  
• 
  Verify patient information, collect medical histories, and prepare patients for exams.
  
  
• 
  Maintain clinical supplies and ensure the exam rooms are sterile and organized.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols, including BLS certification requirements.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  HS diploma or GED required; additional education or certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of one year of Medical Assistant experience preferred.
  
  
• 
  Phlebotomy experience required.
  
  
• 
  Current BLS certification from AHA or equivalent accepted.
  
  
• 
  Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays.
