About the Position

Job Title: RRT NICU Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care RRT hospital experience License: RRT Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP Must-Have: - Minimum 1 year current acute care RRT hospital experience - BLS, ACLS, and NRP Description: This position requires providing respiratory care to patients in the neonatal intensive care unit. Candidates should possess a strong background in respiratory therapy and critical care. Breathing treatments and ventilation assessments will be performed regularly. Candidates with NICU and pediatric experience are preferred. High energy and a passion for making a difference in patient care are essential. Utilization of equipment such as Hamilton G5 and C1 ventilators is expected. Experience in a level 1 trauma environment is a plus. Staff will work alongside a charge RT and clinical RTs during night shifts. Patient ratios will be maintained at 10:1 for optimal care. The unit has a diverse staff with a commitment to quality patient outcomes. We are looking for dedicated professionals who prioritize patient care experience.
