Job Summary And Qualifications Performs maintenance and repair duties and assigned tasks having to do with hospital mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The operating engineer maintains and operates the building powerhouse/boiler system as required by city code. Maintain and repair non-patient contact hospital equipment, and various Life Safety systems. Orders parts and materials as needed. The hours for this position are Nights with rotating weekends. 11:15 p.m. -7:30 a.m. Sunday thru Thursday. Qualifications High School Graduate / GED Required Current Driver's License Required Class "A" Operating Engineers license preferred Various Licenses/Certifications depending on particular job assignment / CFS certification, backflow certification, specific equipment & systems training Minimum 3 years maintenance experience required About Research Medical Center Research Medical Center is a 585+ bed hospital.
