Regional Patient Food Service Manager (Travel Required)

Morrison Healthcare Salary: $75,000-80,000 Other Forms of Compensation: Annual Bonus Potential Schedule: 75% Travel required, generally Traveling Monday-Thursday (home on Friday) or Traveling Tuesday - Friday (home on Monday) Territory: focus accounts in Central and Western United States The ideal candidate is based in TX (or any other Central/Western state) - close to a major airport Job Summary We are seeking a Regional Patient Food Services Manager to lead our Patient Solutions efforts for focus accounts in Central and Western United States. This is a unique role to impact client relationships and patient satisfaction in your assigned area. This role requires 75% travel and the ideal candidate will live close to a major airport. Key Responsibilities Establishes goals and oversees implementation of patient food services needs based upon medical direction and patient population Coaches, trains, and develops patient service team members Complies with dietary restrictions on special or modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within guidelines of the diet order limitations Ensures patient services staff assists in achieving stated patient satisfaction goals Complies with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies Participates in/ leads patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs Qualifications Associate degree with one (1) year work experience in food services or related field, or bachelor’s degree in food service technology/management or related field Certified Dietary Manager certificate, Registered Diet Technician or Registered Dietitian, preferred Minimum of three years experience in food service management preferably in an acute care, contract managed food service setting ServSafe certified, desirable Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft office applications, electronic medical record, and diet office systems Benefits Medical Dental Vision Life Insurance/ AD Disability Insurance Retirement Plan Flexible Time Off Paid Parental Leave Holiday Time Off (varies by site/state) Personal Leave Associate Shopping Program Health and Wellness Programs Discount Marketplace Identity Theft Protection Pet Insurance Commuter Benefits Employee Assistance Program Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) Associates may also be eligible for paid and/or unpaid time off benefits in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
