Intermediate Electrical Engineer

Precise Systems is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer with Circuit Card design experience to join our dynamic team in Arizona. This mid-career position requires no travel, allowing you to maintain a stable work location at our client site in Arizona. The role starts as a six-month contract, with the possibility to grow into a long-term or permanent position based on your performance and the company's needs. This role requires in-person support.

Duties:

• Support client operations in Arizona, working on technical projects that require analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and maintain engineering solutions that meet client specifications and industry standards.
• Perform tasks such as schematic capture, physical layout, component selection, simulation, and testing.
• Apply engineering principles to analyze, design, and develop systems or components according to requirements.
• Conduct tests, collect data, and document results to ensure quality control and compliance with project specifications.
• Work with CAD software to create technical drawings and models, and participate in design reviews and provide technical input to improve existing processes.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, implement corrective actions, and provide regular progress reports to project managers and stakeholders.
• Interpret technical specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor junior team members, contribute to knowledge sharing, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements relevant to your field of expertise.

Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field)
• Professional engineering certification or license preferred but not required

Required Experience:

• 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience
• Circuit Card Design experience
• Demonstrated experience in design, development, or maintenance of engineering systems
• Experience with testing methodologies and quality control processes
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience working in a client-facing environment
• Previous experience with engineering software applications
• Experience preparing and presenting technical reports

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Minimum Salary: $60,000.00

Maximum Salary: $100,000.00
