Laboratory - Medical Lab Technician

Medical Laboratory Scientist (Nights) - Flexible Schedule

The laboratory teams at our facility have responsibilities for testing samples that may include blood, body fluids, and tissue to aid in the diagnosis of diseases, illnesses, or conditions that may need medical attention. Lab tests are processed for hospital inpatients and emergency room patients twenty-four hours a day, with additional testing performed on outpatient and clinic specimens. All laboratories are licensed by the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and accredited by the College of American Pathologists.

This position offers a night shift from 2100 to 0730, with a commitment of every other weekend. It is a unique 7 on and 7 off scheduling arrangement.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Experience with Epic, Antibody IDs, Emergency blood banking, and Ortho Vitros 5600.
• Must hold ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician.
