Job Responsibilities

• Create Customized Treatment Plans: Evaluate individual patient needs and design tailored therapy strategies aimed at achieving their rehabilitation goals.
• Implement Effective Therapeutic Interventions: Leverage evidence-based techniques to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living tasks.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver comprehensive and holistic care to patients.
• Educate Patients and Their Families: Provide guidance to patients and caregivers about therapy methods that will help maintain progress at home.
• Track and Document Patient Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment approaches as necessary to ensure optimal patient care.

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational establishment.
• Ongoing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported.

Licensure & Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required.
