Job Description Shriners Children’s is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a Pediatric Registered Nurse in our Inpatient Unit. Hours This full-time night shift position will work 12 hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays. Key Responsibilities The Inpatient RN is responsible for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care in a collaborative, family-centered environment. The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family. This position will provide leadership by acting as an informal and formal leader, preceptor and through quality improvement efforts. Required Qualifications RN in state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - American Heart Association Preferred Qualifications RN in state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - American Heart Association Compensation Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
