Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Maryland

Start Date: October 12, 2026
Location: Hagerstown, Maryland
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 4:1 patient ratio; up to 6 weekend shifts per 6-week scheduling period; 20-hour orientation

• High-acuity, fast-paced Level II Trauma Center with 54-bed Emergency Department averaging 220 patient visits daily
• Comprehensive patient population including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics with diverse case mix including trauma, stroke, STEMI, and critical care
• Epic EMR system with full interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and radiology
• 1-year travel assignment with flexibility in weekend scheduling and up to two pre-approved time-off requests
• Opportunities to work with advanced procedures including procedural sedation, blood product administration, ventilator management, and IV vasopressors
• Non-local candidates only; must reside outside 50-mile radius from facility

• Active Registered Nurse license in Maryland or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale (pending certifications acceptable)
• Epic charting system experience required
• COVID-19 vaccination required (no exemptions)
• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
• 2-step PPD required
• Must be available for holiday and weekend shifts as scheduled
