This role is located in Rancho Bernardo, CA.Essential Functions: Familiarity and understanding of system requirements (validation and verification) and interface control documents (ICDs), and statements of work (SOW)Support cross-IPT development of system level requirements and use casesSupport requirements verification methodology and traceabilityPerform requirements verification and selloffWork with IPTs to develop and execute program IFC plans and metricsManage project execution rhythm, coordination, and reporting activitiesFamiliarity with JIRA software tool (and/or similar) for issue tracking and resolutionBasic Qualifications:Must have a Bachelors degree in a STEM field and at least 5 years of relevant military / professional experience, OR a Master's Degree in a STEM field and at least 3 years of relevant military / professional experience, OR a PhD and at least 1 year of relevant military / professional / academic experienceMust have experience in AT LEAST ONE aspect of aerospace Systems Engineering, including, requirements decomposition, test planning, requirements verification, integration, and requirements managementMust have an active US Government Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)Preferred Qualifications:Experience in Integrated Functional Capability (IFC) processFamiliarity with JIRA software tool (and/or similar) for issue tracking and resolutionStrong leadership, excellent communication, and strong presentation skillsExperience with Agile MethodologyFamiliarity and understanding of system requirements (validation and verification) Experience in integrating hardware and software in a lab environmentExperience with USAF programsExperience with technical configuration management (CM or Technical Baseline)Primary Level Salary Range: $114,000.00 - $171,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
