Our client is looking for an Senior Software Engineer (Java Microservices) for a project and below is the detailed requirement.
Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (Java Microservices)
Location: Irving, TX - Hybrid
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, with strong experience in enterprise Java application development.
- 10 12 years of strong hands-on software development experience.
- Strong expertise in Java 17, Java 8+, J2EE, and Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience developing scalable Java Microservices.
- Strong experience with RESTful and SOAP Web Services.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized application environments.
- Strong knowledge of JUnit, unit testing, code reviews, and code quality practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with Jira.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, UrbanCode Deploy, and Harness.
- Strong understanding of modern architecture and enterprise application development.
- Experience leading technical design, development, and delivery initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and ownership skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
- Exposure to React.js is a plus.
