Job Description
TITLE
CVOR RN - Cardiac Vascular Operating Room

SCHEDULE
12H Rotating (Day/Evening) shifts required with potential on-call responsibilities during the week and weekends.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 13-16 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

REQUIREMENTS
- BLS certification required
- CNOR certification preferred
- Prior travel experience required
- Minimum of 2 years of OR RN experience, with recent experience in cardiovascular/open heart OR
- Epic experience from within the past 2 years is required and non-negotiable
- General experience in a large (500+ beds), academic teaching hospital required

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide direct patient care in the cardiovascular operating room.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the surgical environment.
- Monitor patients' conditions and provide necessary interventions during procedures.
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams for optimal patient care.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and standard operating procedures.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Travelers must work 2 out of the 4 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day.
- Must have reliable transportation as public transportation is not accessible in the area.
- Employment gaps over 90 days must be explained.
- All work history information must be complete for submission.
