Role Description This is a full‑time on‑site role located in Tampa, FL for a professional Interpreter. The interpreter will facilitate clear and accurate communication between parties by converting spoken words from one language to another in real time. Responsibilities include interpreting in a variety of settings, ensuring language accuracy, maintaining confidentiality, and following ethical guidelines. The interpreter will also prepare for assignments by researching key terminology and industry‑specific language as needed. Languages: Tagalog, Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese. Ask about our sign‑on bonus! Interpreter Qualifications Proficient in English and target language (Tagalog, Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese, French) with excellent oral communication skills in both. Demonstrated ability in real‑time interpretation and cultural mediation. Strong listening, comprehension, and memory retention skills. Familiarity with industry‑specific terminology, particularly in healthcare, government, or finance. Professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to ethical standards in all interactions. Flexibility to interpret in a variety of settings and adapt to different scenarios. Bachelor's degree in Interpretation, Translation, Linguistics, or related field preferred. Certification from a recognized interpreting body (e.g., CCHI or RID) is a plus. Previous professional interpreting experience is highly desirable.
