Accountant II (Coppell, TX) - Austin Bridge & Road

Austin Bridge & Road has an outstanding opportunity for an Accountant II at our corporate headquarters in Coppell, Texas. The role will be responsible for job cost accounting, general ledger, and reporting. Responsibilities General ledger accounting including reconciliations Monthly accounting close process, contract profit review and analyses Various reports and analyses (including KPIs and various business metrics) Periodic forecast and budgeting processes Job cost responsibilities including project setup, budget upload, maintains on-going contract budget adjustment, change orders etc. Monthly job billing, cost review etc. Support field operations including field office managers, project managers and regional managers Assist in external and internal audits Completes ad hoc requests Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Construction industry experience is preferred but not required Strong analytical skills Able to work well in a team environment Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Excellent communication skills both written and oral Proven people and organizational development skills; able to work smoothly and effectively with people at all levels of the organization Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required 3+ years of accounting experience Proficient with Microsoft Excel Applicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States.
