Testing Manager

Job Summary As the Testing Manager at Accenture Federal Services, you will drive the modernization and strategic evolution of the testing function—leading the shift from manual testing practices to scalable, automated solutions. You will champion quality assurance excellence, streamline testing workflows, and foster a high‑performing team culture focused on continuous improvement. Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and support a multidisciplinary test team throughout the transition from manual to automated testing. Oversee the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of automated testing frameworks and tools. Establish and enforce testing standards, procedures, and quality benchmarks. Generate clear, actionable reports and present key testing metrics to stakeholders and clients. Perform hands‑on testing when required to resolve complex defects or support critical project phases. Partner closely with clients to understand requirements, communicate project status, and ensure alignment. Maintain comprehensive documentation of testing processes, frameworks, results, and best practices. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, speed, and efficiency across the testing lifecycle. Qualifications Strong expertise in designing scalable automated test architectures for enterprise systems. Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, etc.). Solid understanding of API testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, REST Assured). Ability to analyze complex systems and identify opportunities for automation and quality improvement. Demonstrated success in stakeholder management and communicating technical concepts to non‑technical audiences. Background in federal compliance requirements or secure development practices is highly beneficial. Proven capacity to coach and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and growth‑oriented environment. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
