Our client delivers enterprise app delivery and networking platforms that keep business traffic reliable and secure. They are expanding that platform for emerging AI workloads with a focus on AI security and data delivery. As the Principal Product Manager, set the vision, own the roadmap, and make build, buy, or partner decisions for this AI portfolio. Expect to craft business cases, PRDs, PRFAQs, and GTM plans backed by 1-year and 5-year models. Hardware adjacency such as top-of-rack gear sits in scope as you define how software and infrastructure connect.

You will work side by side with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales, acting as the voice of the customer and a cross-functional leader. Job Responsibilities

• Strategy documents are yours to craft, from business cases and PRDs to PRFAQs and GTM plans for AI-focused initiatives
• Market analysis covering new market entry, competitive landscapes, user research, and product-market fit
• Financial models for 1-year and 5-year planning using internal and external data sources
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to shape the product roadmap and priorities
• Guide teams from multiple functions to carry out the strategy and turn objectives into clear, trackable targets
• Roadmap delivery, including clear Buy vs Build vs Partner calls
• Organizational impact is identified and actively managed, with a strong POV on goals and outcomes
• Executive communications, sharing recommendations and insights with the Board, executives, and the broader company
• Influence without authority to drive execution of strategic initiatives
• Analyst relations are established and nurtured to build market credibility
• Coach and mentor other PM leaders while testing and validating strategies
• Voice of customer, representing needs and championing customer outcomes
• AI focus across security and data delivery, with awareness of top-of-rack hardware adjacency

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline
• 12+ years in product management or equivalent experience
• Customer-obsessed approach: listen deeply, organize feedback, and champion the right initiatives
• Strategic thinker who can identify, evaluate, and analyze critical business questions and exercise sound judgment
• Proven at getting things done, able to prioritize several workstreams at once, and produce concise, synthesized analysis
• Influential leader who initiates partnerships and drives organizational change
• Able to explain complex tech and its business impact to different audiences, in writing and in meetings
• Collaborative and flexible, self-motivated, comfortable working independently or leading complex projects
• MBA or background with a leading consulting firm is a plus
• Familiarity with load balancing concepts is helpful
• Technical understanding of data center network architecture is a plus
• Technical understanding of cloud technologies is a plus
