Production Technician - Manufacturing/Production Operations

$22 per hour

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Production Technician to join a fast-paced production team in Nevada City, CA. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in mechanics, HVAC, electrical work, maintenance, or other technical/trade-related backgrounds. The ideal candidate is comfortable working around heavy machinery, chemicals, and production equipment while following all safety protocols and PPE requirements.

This is a hands-on role requiring troubleshooting skills, physical stamina, and the ability to work collaboratively in a production environment. Candidates should be comfortable performing maintenance-related tasks, assisting with process improvements, and handling equipment breakdowns when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and assist with production equipment and machinery

Troubleshoot equipment issues and assist with repairs and maintenance, and disassembly

Work safely around chemicals and industrial equipment while following PPE and safety guidelines

Support production efficiency and process improvement initiatives

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Follow operational procedures and production schedules

Lift and move materials/equipment ranging from 25-50 lbs

Work 10-hour shifts in a physically active production environment
Qualifications:

Previous experience in mechanics, HVAC, electrical work, manufacturing, maintenance, or related trades preferred

Comfortable working around heavy machinery and chemicals

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Ability to lift 25-50 lbs and remain active throughout the shift

Experience in production or manufacturing environments is a plus
Additional Notes:

Proper PPE, including safety glasses and respirators, will be provided

Client interviews may be conducted prior to placement due to the technical nature of the role
