Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented architectural designer to join our in-house team. This role focuses on creating accurate technical drawings and floor plan layouts that support our custom manufacturing and installation processes.

Industry experience is not required.

We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates strong software skills, organization, and attention to detail. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is technically proficient and eager to grow within a specialized manufacturing environment.

This is not a remote position. The successful candidate will work on-site with our team to ensure drawings are precise, organized, and ready for production.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and revise technical drawings, floor plans, and layouts using design software like Adobe Illustrator / CAD software
• Prepare shop drawings for customer review and approval prior to production
• Update drawings based on project changes and internal feedback
• Ensure all dimensions and layout details are accurate before releasing drawings to production
• Maintain organized drawing files, revisions, and project documentation
• Coordinate with internal team members to confirm project details
• Follow established drawing standards and procedures
• Support overall workflow efficiency through accurate and consistent documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Rhino3D, or similar drafting programs)
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to learn quickly and follow established processes
• Reliable and dependable work habits
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Comfortable working in a team-based, in-person environment

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience creating technical drawings, layouts, or floor plans
• Familiarity with Rhino3D or similar 3D modeling software
• Experience working in a design, drafting, or production environment
• Interest in construction, architecture, or manufacturing
