Seeking a BE/BC Epileptologist to join our growing Neurology Department in western West Virginia.\n

• Full-time, hospital employed position
\n
• Join an existing Epilepsy Physician and 8 Neurologists in a growing Neuroscience Department
\n
• Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgeon on staff
\n
• Faculty members including General, Pediatric, Neurohospitalist, Neuromuscular, Movement, Headache, and Vascular
\n
• Level 3 Epilepsy and Seizure Center is first in the region
\n
• Epilepsy monitoring unit has 5 specially equipped rooms for adults and 2 for Pediatrics
\n
• Position involves clinic, hospital, and teaching components
\n
• Provide evaluation, treatment, and follow-up care for general Neurology and epilepsy patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
\n
• Provide general Neurology call coverage with other neurologists in a shared system
\n
• Active in physician and hospital outreach activities related to neurology/epilepsy
\n
• Participate in medical student and resident education, as well as research
\n
• All other appropriate duties as assigned by the chair of the Department of Neurology
\n
• Multidisciplinary team includes Radiologists, Clinical Pharmacists, Nursing Dietitians, Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists
\n
• Established Neurology Residency Program
\n
• New Medical Office Building under construction with 1 and 1/2 floors dedicated to Neurology and Neurophysiology
\n
