Another part may involve coaching someone through a job task, celebrating progress, or finding a different way to teach a skill.We’re looking for someone who doesn't just see a task that needs completed—you see an opportunity to teach someone else how to do it successfully.**You’ll Have the Opportunity to*** Provide friendly, professional customer service* Operate the register and assist with day-to-day retail operations* Stock, organize, and maintain merchandise and sales areas* Accept, sort, and organize donations* Work in both retail and warehouse environments* Coach individuals with disabilities as they learn workplace skills* Break tasks into manageable steps and adapt your coaching to the person* Encourage independence, problem-solving, confidence, and perseverance* Help create an organized, welcoming, and inclusive environment* Learn different parts of RISE and build skills for future growth opportunitiesThe position is designed to combine retail responsibilities with individualized job coaching rather than treating those as separate functions. You'll also need to meet RISE's background and training requirements, have a valid driver's license, and be able to obtain a Missouri Class E chauffeur's license within 14 days of hire.You should be comfortable working in a retail and warehouse environment, using basic computer and point-of-sale systems, working on your feet, and lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds.
