Memory Care Support Partner 3pm-11pm $18-24 (Part Time) Position Type: Part-Time Pay Range: $18 - $24 per hour Shift Schedule: Monday and Sunday, 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm Location: Vitalia Mentor, 8180 Mentor Hills, Mentor, OH 44060 Responsibilities Advocate of Empathy: Understanding the importance of empathy and creating human connection with residents during vulnerable moments. Patient Observer: Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and unique qualities. Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success. Master of the Mise en Scène: Responsible for setting the stage for a successful day by preparing the dining room, library, and residents’ rooms for various activities. Life Partner: Partnering with residents through all facets of daily life from wake to sleep. Excellent at documenting resident care and changes in condition. Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods. Qualifications At least 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our residents. Positive, energetic attitude; love for residents. Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information. Physically active; able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop all day. Ability to lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds. Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after a fall.
