Essential Functions The core functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Auditing cash and sales files in accordance with Member procedures. Reconciling cash and sales, and accounts receivable (AR) data with source documents. Responding to Member inquiries regarding cash & sales and AR issues; collaborating with Member stores daily to resolve discrepancies. Alert Supervisor of unusual issues, overages/shortages, propose solutions and bring forward suggested changes when appropriate. Assist with introductory accounting tasks such as recording transactions or reconciling accounts. Provide support in routine accounting functions, developing familiarity with financial systems and reporting tools. Qualifications Four-year college degree or currently enrolled (Accounting/Finance/Business Administration) preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Windows operating systems Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems or retail operations is a plus. Detail oriented multi-tasker with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong sense of urgency. Working Conditions & Physical Demands Ability to sit/stand in front of a computer for extended periods of time. Ability to navigate multiple computer windows to verify source documents. Ability to open, sort, and batch mail received from Member offices and external mail services. Ability to adhere to the company’s four day a week in office requirement. Placement in the range depends on several factors, including experience, skills, education, geography, and budget considerations.
