Daycare Floater

Once Upon a Childcare is looking for an experienced Childcare Floater to join our team! Responsibilities: While stepping in for the staff, you will help implement the daily lesson. Not responsible for creating your own lesson. Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, etc.) to teach children Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments Guide children in developing their artistic and practical skills through a carefully constructed curriculum (e.g., identifying shapes, numbers, colors, art, etc.). Track children's progress and report to parents Collaborate with other educators. Maintain a clean, tidy classroom in accordance with health and safety standards. Holiday pay Birthday off with pay We will help you obtain your CDA (Child Development Associate) Desired Skills and Experience: Experience working in a licensed childcare facility Child development courses through an accredited college and/or EQIT/Pyramid Plus courses and/or a Level 2 or higher in the PDIS credential system Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms Excellent communication and instructional skills Ability to act as a mediator between children Cool-tempered, friendly, and reliable Certification in child CPR or willingness to obtain #J-18808-Ljbffr Once Upon a Childcare
