Direct Hire - Inside Sales Representative

Osceola Area, AR | Full-Time | Direct Hire

Marathon Staffing is seeking qualified candidates for a Direct Hire Inside Sales Representative position with a growing industrial manufacturing company in the Osceola area.

The selected candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned customer base, managing quotations, customer orders, account relationships, and sales growth opportunities. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in inside sales, customer service, account management, manufacturing, or industrial distribution.

• Respond to customer requests for quotes (RFQs) and prepare accurate pricing proposals.
• Enter, process, and manage customer orders while ensuring specifications, quantities, and delivery requirements are met.
• Serve as the primary contact for assigned customer accounts.
• Build strong customer relationships through responsive service and communication.
• Follow up on open quotes and identify opportunities to increase sales and account growth.
• Coordinate with operations, production, scheduling, and shipping departments to support customer needs.
• Provide information regarding products, materials, and processing capabilities.
• Maintain accurate customer records, quote activity, and account documentation within company systems.
• Monitor pricing, margins, inventory concerns, and communicate opportunities to management.
• Assist with customer concerns, quality issues, returns, and order-related inquiries.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work with pricing, measurements, margins, and numerical data.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple customer requests in a fast-paced environment.

• 1-10 years of experience in Inside Sales, Customer Service, Account Management, Sales Support, or Business Development.
• Experience in manufacturing, metals, steel, industrial distribution, or related industries.
• Experience with ERP and CRM systems.
• Experience preparing quotations and managing customer accounts.
• Understanding of inventory management, pricing strategies, and profit margins.
• Familiarity with metal products, metal grades, slitting, shearing, cut-to-length processing, fabrication, or related manufacturing environments.
• Experience working with production, logistics, scheduling, or supply chain teams.

• Primarily office-based within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Frequent interaction with production, operations, and logistics personnel.
• Occasional visits to the production floor may require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Standard business hours with occasional flexibility based on customer and operational needs.
