Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our operating room team. The ideal candidates will provide exceptional perioperative patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment, supporting a variety of specialties and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and assist with surgical cases including general, ENT, eyes, ortho, robotics, vascular, and trauma surgeries.
• Pass and verify instruments and supplies during surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment.
• Monitor and document patient status before, during, and after surgery, adhering to hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to facilitate efficient procedure flow.
• Follow all safety, infection control, and accreditation standards throughout operations.
• Float and cover outpatient surgery units as needed, maintaining flexibility for varied shifts.

Qualifications:

• Must possess valid RN licensure with 2-3 years of OR experience required.
• Previous travel assignment experience preferred, with at least 2 completed assignments.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in all specialties, including robotics, neuro spine, and orthopedics, with experience passing arms in robotics procedures.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically EPIC.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including day, evening, night, and call rotation.
