POSITION: CDL Truck Driver - Class B with Hazmat and Air Brake Endorsements.

SUMMARY:

Blackwell Energy Corporation is looking for a Full Time Propane and Home Heating Oil Driver. This position serves as critical support to all areas and/or functions of this location and ensuring the continued commitment to taking care of our customers

REQUIREMENTS:

Must be 21 years of age.
Must have Class B MA drivers license with Hazmat and air brakes endorsements.
Must have or be actively seeking a TWIC card.
Must be able to pass a DOT Physical and or have a current DOT Card.
Must be able to pass a background check and check driving records.
Non-Smokers Only - This position is subject to random drug checks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Drives local truck to transport materials in liquid form to and from specified destinations.
Verifies load against shipping papers.
Drives truck to destination, Delivers Propane and or Home heating oil , applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and roads in area.
Collects payment for goods delivered and for delivery charges when necessary.
Calls the Operations supervisor/manager when leaving each delivery location.
Maintains drivers log according to state and federal regulations.
Assist in unloading and loading trucks.
Inspects truck equipment and supplies, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
Responsible to perform pre-trip, post-trip, and in-transit inspections.
Responsible for ensuring proper pleading of assigned vehicles.
Responsible for ensuring load is locked, braced and secured.
Expected to understand the applicable procedures in the delivery process.
Inspect tank inventory – Check to tanks to ensure proper delivery.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

Responsible for final inspection and approval for outbound shipments.
Reports customer complaints in association with the delivery process.
Responsible for any additional duties as defined by Operations supervisor/manager or dispatch.
Understand truck/trailer capacity.
