Overview
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – travel assignment in Cumming, GA, starting 09/14/2026 for 16 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,602 - $1,650 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week. Shift: 12-hour days (12x3). Setting: acute care environment. Assignment supported by Healthforce Healthcare LLC. Note: No local candidates within 50 miles.

Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care assessments and implement treatment plans per physician orders for adult patients as applicable.
- Operate and monitor respiratory therapy modalities, including ventilators, airway clearance devices, and oxygen delivery systems; adjust settings per protocol.
- Administer inhaled medications and chest physiotherapy as prescribed; monitor for adverse reactions.
- Monitor patient response, document progress, and communicate findings to the interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain equipment, ensure infection control practices, and participate in shift handoffs and quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide patient and family education as appropriate and support discharge planning within the care team.

Requirements
- Active state RRT license (RRT) and NBRC-RRT certification
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in respiratory care within the specialty
- Ability to perform duties in an acute care environment and to work a 12-hour shift on a travel assignment
