Advanced Certified Nursing Assistant - Medical Surgical, Full Time Days

Summary: Provide essential patient care in a medical-surgical setting, ensuring comfort and safety. Monitor and report any unusual changes in patient conditions promptly. Maintain cleanliness and stock supplies within the patient unit. Perform assigned nursing assistant procedures with care and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver compassionate care while supporting a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Adapt flexibly to varying work tasks and schedules. Utilize basic computer skills and apply knowledge of age-specific patient needs. Engage in physical activities including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and patient repositioning. Maintain vigilance for infection control, understanding potential exposure risks.

Education and Certifications: Must hold current BLS certification from the American Heart Association and be listed on the Nursing Assistant Registry.

Experience and Requirements: Ability to accept supervision and work collaboratively within a team. Strong observational skills with visual and auditory acuity to monitor patients effectively.
