A. Duda & Sons, Inc. has an opening for a salaried paid  Lead Functional Consultant D365 F&SCM Supply Chain  at the corporate office in Oviedo, FL. In this position, you will serve as the senior functional lead for supply chain capabilities within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management.

In this role, you will lead the functional design, configuration, optimization, and continued evolution of supply chain processes and solutions. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, implementation consultants, internal developers, BI and data teams, and other technology partners to translate complex operational requirements into scalable and sustainable D365 solutions.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on functional leader who understands both D365 technology and end-to-end supply chain processes. You will promote a configure-before-customize approach, helping the organization take full advantage of standard D365 functionality, configuration, workflows, and process improvements before recommending custom development.

Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Business Process & Solution Design:

• Lead current-state and future-state analysis across procurement, purchasing, inventory, warehouse management, planning, replenishment, product and item management, sales fulfillment, and related supply chain processes.
• Translate operational objectives and complex business requirements into effective D365 F&SCM solution designs.
• Lead fit-to-standard and fit-gap assessments to determine whether requirements should be addressed through standard functionality, configuration, workflows, process changes, or other supported product capabilities.
• Evaluate dependencies across Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, Procurement, Production, Projects, data, and related business processes.
• Design future-state processes with an emphasis on standardization, scalability, operational effectiveness, and maintainability.
• Create and maintain functional requirements, process flows, configuration specifications, solution-design documentation, and decision records.

Supply Chain Configuration & Product Optimization:

• Lead and perform functional configuration across procurement, inventory, warehouse management, planning, product management, order fulfillment, and related areas.
• Evaluate standard D365 capabilities and business-process transformation opportunities before recommending extensions or custom development.
• Demonstrate standard product functionality and identify practical configuration alternatives for stakeholders and implementation partners.
• Review proposed customizations and challenge unnecessary development when standard functionality or process reengineering can meet the business need.
• Monitor Microsoft D365 Supply Chain releases and recommend standard capabilities that may replace manual processes or existing customizations.

Internal and External Collaboration:

• Serve as the senior Supply Chain functional counterpart to implementation consultants throughout discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
• Lead workshops, fit-gap sessions, solution demonstrations, and design reviews.
• Review implementation-partner designs and recommendations for alignment with business requirements and D365 standards.
• Collaborate with internal developers when requirements cannot reasonably be met through standard D365 functionality or accepted process changes.
• Provide clear requirements, business justification, dependencies, expected system behavior, and acceptance criteria for development work.
• Validate that delivered solutions align with the approved functional design without unnecessarily increasing customization.

• Supply Chain Testing, Deployment & Readiness:

• Lead functional testing and business validation for implementations, enhancements, releases, and process changes.
• Develop or oversee test scenarios, test cases, expected results, and acceptance criteria.
• Support user acceptance testing readiness, solution demonstrations, training, cutover preparation, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Confirm that delivered functionality meets approved requirements and solution designs before production deployment

Complex Supply Chain Problem Solving, Product Support, and Continuous Improvement:

• Investigate functional issues involving procurement, inventory, warehouse operations, planning, product management, order fulfillment, data, integrations, and cross-module dependencies.
• Determine whether issues result from process gaps, configuration deficiencies, standard system behavior, data-quality concerns, integration failures, or custom-development requirements.
• Guide teams toward sustainable resolutions using solution design, configuration, process optimization, and standard D365 capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and improve supply chain processes.
• Recommend solutions that reduce unnecessary customization and improve operational performance, usability, reliability, scalability, and total cost of ownership.

Supply Chain Stakeholder Leadership & Solution Governance:

• Serve as a trusted D365 Supply Chain advisor to business leaders, process owners, operations leaders, warehouse and procurement stakeholders, subject-matter experts, and technology partners.
• Present solution alternatives, tradeoffs, risks, dependencies, and business impacts to support informed decisions.
• Provide functional governance for configuration and solution changes.
• Mentor Business Analysts and other team members on D365 Supply Chain functionality and business-process design.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree is required or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience
• Minimum 6-7 years of experience in  ERP, supply chain systems, business processes, and significant D365 Supply Chain implementation
• Minimum of 2 end-to-end implementations of D365F&SCM 
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with technical and non-technical teams
