In this 12-week, possibly extendable position, your focus will be on providing vital occupational therapy services to pre-kindergarten students across multiple school sites with a manageable caseload of 33 students. The role is itinerant, covering 1-2 days a week onsite, making it perfect for therapists seeking both flexibility and purposeful work (note: VOCO/virtual work is not part of this position).

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapy license for North Carolina
• School-based OT experience preferred, particularly with early childhood/Pre K populations
• Ability to travel between multiple school sites
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills
• Commitment to supporting young learners’ growth and development

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and deliver OT interventions for Pre K students
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Manage documentation and IEP participation for assigned caseload
• Travel between sites to meet students’ needs
• Adapt interventions to fit various school environments
