Senior Lead Software Engineer - AI Engineer

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, with at least five years of applied experience
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Expertise in one or more programming languages
• Experience designing and leading adoption of agentic AI-enabled development practices across teams, including standards for human review, change traceability, and secure handling of sensitive data
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use and controls in engineering workflows, including security, resilience, data sensitivity, and risk-based governance
• Ability to apply technical expertise and new methods to solve complex technology problems
• Understanding of business considerations
• Practical cloud-native experience
• Preferred: Education or experience in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, or a related technical field
• Preferred: Advanced knowledge of software architecture, applications, and technical processes, with in-depth expertise in one or more disciplines such as cloud, AI, machine learning, or mobile

• Build complex, scalable coding frameworks using suitable software design approaches
• Develop secure, high-quality production code, and review and debug code written by others
• Architect and govern agentic AI-enabled engineering workflows using authorized enterprise tools to improve delivery speed, code quality, and operational outcomes; establish safeguards for validation, security, resilience, and reuse
• Use software development lifecycle tools, including authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to increase the value of automation at scale
• Advise cross-functional teams on technology within your area of expertise and serve as a subject matter expert
• Contribute to technical methods in specialized fields, applying current product development practices
• Create durable, reusable software frameworks for use across teams and functions
• Influence leaders and senior stakeholders across business, product, and technology teams
• Help define enterprise-scale target architecture using AI-enabled solutions for next-generation customer experiences in Consumer & Community Banking
• Partner with product and engineering teams to establish roadmaps and solution architectures for the target state
