Registered Nurse IR - New Port Richey, FL

Opportunity available for a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in Interventional Radiology. This contract position requires a skilled professional to support a dynamic radiology department performing advanced procedures. The assignment includes a start date every other week, with upcoming opportunities beginning 1/26. Schedule/Hours: Shifts available: 12-hour days or 10-hour days Call and weekend: One weeknight call per week and one weekend call per month Qualifications: Current RN license required Proficiency in Interventional Radiology care Valid ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications Comfortable performing and assisting with tunneled lines, nephrostomy tube placements, drain care, biopsies, embolizations, chest tubes, and TIPS procedures Ability to work efficiently in a high-acuity environment Professional, adaptable demeanor and excellent communication skills Must provide/wear navy blue scrubs Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures Monitor and respond to patient needs throughout pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety protocols during all procedures Take required on-call shifts and provide responsive care for urgent cases Provide patient education and support regarding procedures and aftercare This contract role offers an opportunity to practice in an advanced care environment, deepen your clinical skills, and contribute to patient well-being through vital, technically sophisticated procedures.
