Orthopedic Surgery Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with options for 3 12-hour shifts or 4 10-hour shifts. On call schedule includes 6 call shifts per 4-week schedule.

The Orthopedic Surgery Nurse will be responsible for providing quality care to patients undergoing orthopedic procedures, including trauma orthopedic cases. The ideal candidate must have experience in the orthopedic specialty, specifically in trauma, and possess a TNCC certification.

• Assist in surgical procedures including arthroscopies and total joints.
• Provide comprehensive patient care in the operating room with a 1 to 1 patient ratio.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions pre- and post-operatively.
• Document patient care and treatment in the Meditech system.

• Orthopedic nursing experience, particularly in trauma cases.
• Current TNCC certification required.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
