Maintenance Tech- 3rd Shift

In this position you will have the opportunity to ensure the plant is in compliance with generally accepted maintenance principles while working independently requiring limited supervision.

The bullet points below reflect roughly 80% of your job. We are a fast-paced company, you may be pulled in a variety of different direction with tasks added or changed.

• Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks on machines, equipment, and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support major repairs, upgrades, and improvement projects
• Safely accomplish assigned tasks
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop equipment specifications and proactive maintenance strategies
• Comply with safety regulations
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas
• Other duties as assigned

High School Graduate/HSE or equivalent manufacturing experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills
• Manage ambiguity while working through stressful situations
• Positive attitude and a willingness to work with others
• Basic machining skills
• Basic welding skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a group
• Must own hand tools
• Strong troubleshooting skills

• Experience with Lockout/Tagout, Hot Work Permits
• Outstanding attendance
• Previous Maintenance Experience
• Ability to read blueprints and machine control schematics

Include but are not limited to time pressures, frequent change of tasks, irregular work schedule/overtime, multi-tasking, working closely with others as a team, and tedious or exacting work.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate works around mechanical hazards, noise and or vibration daily. Extreme temperatures, wetness / humidity and being outdoors.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to run respective inventory system (Great Plains, E21, MES etc.).

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to complete daily Pre-Use Inspection Sheets.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: USD - USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
