Food Service Supervisor Facility: Park Avenue Extended Care Location: Long Beach Schedule: Full Time | Monday–Friday | 12 PM-8 PM Salary: $60,000–$65,000 per year Join Our Team! Park Avenue Extended Care is seeking a dedicated Food Service Supervisor to lead our dietary team and ensure high-quality meal service for our residents. Responsibilities Supervise and train dietary staff to ensure exceptional food service delivery Prepare and maintain employee work schedules Monitor attendance and professional appearance of dietary staff Oversee food distribution, ensuring proper portioning and tray arrangement Ensure timely delivery and pick-up of resident meal trays Maintain food quality standards, including proper temperatures and presentation Assist with food preparation and service when needed Visit resident floors weekly to assess service quality and resident satisfaction Uphold sanitation standards in all kitchen and dining areas Ensure proper use and maintenance of food service equipment; report issues to Engineering/Maintenance Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Completion of a 90-hour course in food, nutrition, and personnel management in food service, or equivalent 1–2 years of experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Benefits 401(k) retirement plan Generous paid time off Comprehensive medical and dental coverage Team-oriented work environment Company perks Employee recognition programs Apply Today!
