Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join as a traveling Physical Therapist in Fredericksburg, VA where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Start ASAP for a 13 week outpatient assignment. The role includes patient evaluation, development and implementation of treatment plans, documentation, student supervision as assigned, and participation in performance improvement activities. You will follow state practice acts and maintain professional licensure and required certifications.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Virginia physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Minimum 6 months of recent outpatient physical therapy experience required by client.
• Experience with comprehensive patient evaluation, goal writing, and development of functional treatment programs.
• Ability to complete timely, accurate medical record documentation, including letters of medical necessity and charge entry.
• Willingness to participate in student supervision and professional development activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient clinic settings with caseload management and productivity expectations.
• Familiarity with performance improvement initiatives and quality metrics.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 5x8 schedule.
• Scheduled weekly pattern: Monday & Wednesday 10:00-19:00; Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 07:00-16:00.
