Supervisory Physician (Psychiatry)

Job TitleJob DescriptionResponsible for providing treatment services and performing complex and emergency behavioral health care for a variety of emotional, psychological, and behavioral disorders.Provide treatment plans and appropriate referrals to other medical and mental health care providers.Provide professional consultation, and collaborative medical support to other professional staff and interdisciplinary teams.Participate in quality assurance studies, utilization reviews, risk management, and peer review activities.Oversee medical students, residents, fellows and other behavioral health trainees in the area of responsibility.Assign work and set completion dates for subordinate staff members.Provide and/or arrange for identified developmental and training needed for assigned staff members.
