The RN provides chemotherapy and biologic infusions, manages central lines, monitors patients for adverse reactions, and delivers symptom management and education to patients and families. Responsibilities include coordinating care with oncologists and interdisciplinary teams, documenting in the EHR, reinforcing treatment plans, and promoting safety and infection control.
