Airport Operations Agent

Monitor inbound and outbound flight activity, including computer data input and manual revisions Prepare daily reports on domestic and international arrivals and departures Update Flight Information Display System (FIDS) information and enter schedule and gate changes Coordinate with departments and contractors during emergencies and fuel stops at the terminal Manage gate control and assign gates for charter flights Notify Sky Caps about wheelchair and other assistance requests Collect and prepare data via two-way radios and other methods Update schedules to meet aircraft requirements Maintain records of aircraft, flights serviced, and services performed Monitor computers, phone calls, and surveillance cameras Complete customer billing documents when necessary Comply with WFS site security procedures Observe staff, security contractors, and visitors Report security breaches, suspicious activity, and non-compliance to management or through the WFS whistleblower program Requirements HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent Above average interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work under pressure Ability to work alone and use independent judgment Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand English Ability to concentrate on detail Ability to learn PC applications and apply knowledge Legible handwriting for forms and paperwork Familiarity with personal computer software helpful Regular and timely attendance Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. Ability to sit for prolonged periods Ability to stand and walk for long periods Ability to work in stressful conditions and under pressure Ability to work in seasonal and adverse weather conditions for extended periods Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and days off Core Competencies Demonstrates strong capabilities in monitoring flight activity, managing gate control, and preparing detailed reports while ensuring compliance with security procedures.
