Location 1255 W Silverbell Rd, Orion Twp, MI 48359, USA Job Summary Villa at Silverbell Estates seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide nursing care through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care while assuming responsibility and accountability for a group of residents or a shift of duty. Compensation and Benefits Wages include MI Bill 690 and shift differentials Daily pay & competitive compensation 401(k) with company match Blue Cross Blue Shield medical insurance Dental, vision, and disability insurance Innovative training programs Access to Villa Perks, an employee discount program Up to $225/month incentive for food, gas, childcare, and medical bills Opportunity for growth and advancement Paid time off Responsibilities Provide licensed care to assigned residents as ordered by physicians and in accordance with facility, federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations Ensure assigned work area, resident care rooms, and treatment areas are maintained in a clean and sanitary manner Takes and records residents' blood pressure and vital signs, administers catheter care, IV therapy, and respiratory care such as oxygen and nebulizer treatments Chart nurses' notes in an informative and descriptive manner that reflects the care provided and the resident’s response to the care Ensure the resident’s environment is free from accidents and hazards; immediately corrects/addresses potential safety risks as warranted Monitors and directs non-licensed ancillary services as needed to meet professional standards and maintain the highest practicable level of resident care Communicate and report information to residents, families, physicians, guardians, government agencies, and facility personnel as required by policy and state/federal guidelines Ensure all aspects of resident care plans are implemented and maintained; make recommendations for care plan changes to the IDT per professional standards Ensure compliance with infection control standards; immediately corrects/addresses identified instances of non‑compliance Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding HIPAA compliance All other duties, as assigned Qualifications CPR trained and possess a current BLS certification from recognized organizations such as the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Gracious and welcoming personality for customer service interaction Ability to multi‑task and remain calm under stress Analytical and problem‑solving skills Ability to organize and prioritize work Understanding and following infection control standards, policies, and procedures Flexible with a work schedule that may include occasional overnight travel Ability to relate positively and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other facility staff Special interest in, and a positive attitude toward, working with short‑ and long‑term care residents and the elderly Meets all health requirements as required by law Basic computer knowledge and aptitude to learn company applications (Microsoft Office suite, email, Outlook, Internet Explorer) Education and Experience Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited college or university Current license to practice in the state as a Registered Nurse One year of experience preferred Long‑term care experience preferred Physical Requirements Walking, reaching, bending, lifting, extended sitting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling; able to distinguish smells and temperatures, with or without aid of mechanical devices Limited potential for exposure to environmental hazards; understanding and adherence to company safety standards and protocols required Meet all health requirements as needed ADA reasonable accommodations available upon request through the interactive process EEO Statement Villa Healthcare Facilities are Equal Opportunity Employers and do not discriminate based on any protected right such as race, color, nationality, gender, age, disability or any protected applicable right under the National Labor Relations Act. #J-18808-Ljbffr Villa Healthcare
