Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Worker to join our team at Countryside Mental Health in Topeka, KS. As an essential member of our facility, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities
Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing various tasks such as cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing patient areas, common spaces, and equipment
Restock supplies and linens as needed to ensure a consistent and comfortable experience for our patients
Assist with laundry, trash removal, and recycling services to maintain a tidy and organized facility
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth operation and maximize efficiency
Identify and report any maintenance or repair needs to ensure a safe and functional work environment
Participate in infection control measures to prevent the spread of illnesses and maintain a hygienic environment
Environmental Services Worker duties may vary based on the needs of the facility and patients

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in environmental services, housekeeping, or a related field is preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods
Environmental Services Worker Certification (CSP) or willingness to obtain within a reasonable timeframe
