Manufacturing Machine Operator

A Manufacturing Machine Operator sets up, runs, and maintains production machinery, ensuring it produces quality goods efficiently while following safety rules; duties include loading materials, monitoring operations, making adjustments, basic troubleshooting, cleaning, and documenting production data to meet output goals. They are crucial for smooth production flow, requiring strong attention to detail, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.


Key Responsibilities:
Machine Operation: Safely operate machinery, load raw materials, and unload finished products.
Setup & Adjustment: Prepare machines for cycles, calibrate settings, and make minor adjustments for quality and efficiency.
Quality Control: Inspect products for defects, check measurements, and verify output against standards.
Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning, basic troubleshooting, and report major issues to maintenance staff.
Documentation: Maintain accurate logs, record production data, and document defective units.
Safety: Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and company regulations.
Teamwork: Collaborate with coworkers and supervisors to meet production targets and improve workflow.


Essential Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic math skills for measurements and data recording.
Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Reliability and good teamwork.
