Physical Therapist travel assignment in Marysville, California. Start date: 06/01/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,327–$2,534. Guaranteed hours: none. Shift: Day shift, 7:00–15:30, Monday–Friday. Responsibilities
- Perform PT evaluations and deliver evidence-based interventions for acute care inpatients and short-stay patients.
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans focusing on mobility, gait training, strength, balance, ROM, and pain management.
- Monitor progress, document outcomes, and communicate findings with the interdisciplinary team; participate in rounds as needed.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, transfers, and functional mobility; assist with discharge planning and referrals.
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, proper equipment use, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other therapists to coordinate care and optimize functional outcomes; manage a caseload within shift constraints.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record and ensure timely entry of progress notes and updates.

Requirements
- Active California Physical Therapy license.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) required if obtained after 2016.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum 1 year of home health experience; Home Base experience preferred; willingness to train if not.
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program; DPT preferred if applicable.
- Must be 21 years or older and able to work in an acute care setting.
